The rules for using inview. Short, because there is not much to say that is not obvious.
You describe what you want to learn. inview writes a spoken survey, gives you a link to share, and holds a short voice conversation with whoever opens it. It returns what people said, grouped into themes and counted, with their own words as evidence.
You need one to see results. Keep your email secure — anyone who can read it can sign in, because sign-in is a link sent to that address.
You can create studies without an account. Those studies are not attached to anyone, so if you lose the link you lose the study. Signing in is what makes work yours.
We may suspend an account doing any of these, and we will not be delicate about it where respondents are being harmed.
The studies you create and the responses you collect belong to you. We use them to run the service and for nothing else: not to train models, not to sell, not to share. You can export or delete them by asking us at pius@owjar.co.
Two things are worth being blunt about.
The interviewer is software. It sometimes mishears, asks a question that has already been answered, or misses a follow-up a person would have caught. It is good enough to be useful and it is not a trained researcher.
The analysis is a summary, not a fact. Themes and counts are produced by a language model reading transcripts. They are a starting point for your judgement, not a substitute for it — which is why every theme links back to the words someone actually said. Read the quotes before you act on a number.
The service is provided as it is, without warranty. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of its output.
Stop using it whenever you like and ask us to delete your data. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
If these terms change materially we will email account holders and change the date at the top.
